With more than 100 new features, InventorCAM 2008 is the most powerful CAM software seamlessly integrated in Inventor 2008.The single-window user interface and the full associativity between the CAD model and NC tool path guarantees a short learning curve and an efficient flow from the 3D design model to the machined part. SolidCAM, the leading supplier of integrated CAM software solutions for the manufacturing industry, announced today the opening of a new Technology Training Center (“TTC”) in the Czech Republic. The main purpose of the TTC is to provide the industry with advanced technical support and services for the manufacturing of complex parts. This covers the complete range of milling applications with special focus on 5-axis indexial and simultaneous machining.

 

SolidCAM announced today its new version InventorCAM2007 R11.1, an important update to the previously released version InventorCAM2007 R11. Resellers can now download the new release from SolidCAM’s website. InventorCAM2007 R11.1 provides seamless single-window integration and full associativity to Inventor 2008.

In order to better support its increasing number of resellers in China, SolidCAM has appointed Lu Shun Jie as Product Manager for China. Lu Shun Jie holds a Master´s degree in Mechanical Design from the Hubei University of Technology. In the last years, he served as Product Manager for Cimatron in China, where he won extensive experience in the aerospace industry and the Mold & Die industry.
